- SP Tech Support Specialist

Qualifications & Deｓｃｒｉｐｔion
This position will have completed an information technology-related degree, with ａｄｄitional training or strong interest in learning to use and manage: 3D printers, vinyl cutters, Arduino controller & Raspberry Pi computer, DJI and Parrot Drones, Snap Circuit kits and similar digital learning tools.
The position will work as part of a team and be directly responsible for managing a variety of services and tasks as outlined below. Individual should be willing to learn to use a variety of tools as noted in the deｓｃｒｉｐｔion above and the details noted below. Work environment is a highly social school environment. The individual will be detail oriented and enjoy working in an environment surrounded by students ages 13 - 18, faculty and support staff. Organization, problem solving and a genuine interest in modern digital tools and devices as noted in this document is essential. Manage the school’s Innovation Lab, providing support and trouble-shooting to faculty, students and staff.Manage a fleet of 3D printers, liaising with a local vendor for repair and parts replacement, including local parts replacement.. Manage a suite of Windows 10 and Macintosh scanning stations to digitize objects. Install and train faculty and students on use of software relating to the Innovation Lab, including 3D printer software, Scratch simple object programming language. Routinely interact with faculty, staff and students in a Help Desk environment, trouble-shooting issues in person with the user and their Macbook, iPad and iPhone, Android, and Windows devices. Manage the campus LCD noticeboard system, including ａｄｄing and removing programming as needed. Support teachers in use and trouble-shooting of touch screen televisions. Maintain the Destiny Asset Manager inventory system on SP campus. Maintain the digital locks for the IT department, associating cards, replacing batteries and otherwise managing the system. Receive and label and ｄｅｌiver laptops and peripherals and accessories for faculty and students, manage the inventory and distribute the peripherals and accessories at opening of school. Maintain the end user’s printing issues and report problems to staff engineer and printing vendor. Support events requiring projects and other hardware, ensuring advance set-up and tear-down. Place and track orders through the school purchasing system in consultation with the Director of Innovation & Technology. Updating Finalsite Page’s content when Development Office need help from IT. Manage the Windows desktop and software, in ｃｈａｒge of reimage the OS when it needed. Ensure AISG IT equipment inventory is accurate and up to date, and responsible for an annual inventory ｕｐｄａｔｅ.
Candidates must possess the following traits and general skills:
1. Worked in a tech support capacity in an educational, health or corporate environment , working directly with end users
2. Experience installing and maintaining software, applications and peripherals
3. Possess CET Level 4+ fluency and comfort working in pure English environment
4. Clear aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving common hardware and software problems
5. Demonstrable problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks or duties over time.
6. Ability to work on own, possessing internal initiative and drive which contributes to a team work environment
